LUX Beauty: 6 Nail Art Ideas For Spring
Transition your nails into springtime with these nail art designs
As our clothing choices transition to springtime, so do our beauty routines. Gone are the days of berry and burgundy nails polishes and we welcome the days of pastels. To get you in the mood for spring, here is a collection of the top six nail art looks inspired by the runways.
Creative
We’re heading to the drugstore to pick up some nail art pens so we can create our very own creative looks like the ones we spotted on models. The easiest way to achieve this look is by using a solid color. We liked this black and white design, and we also used a color pen in a complementary color. By far one of the easiest and creative designs to achieve for spring.
Embellished Whites
The trendy white manicures are transitioning into spring with embellishments taking center stage. It’s important to find a long-lasting polish as this color can be difficult to manage, but this one by OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS should do the trick. After your base is complete, add rhinestones, studs or any other kind of embellishment to really get this manicure to stand out
Metallics
Metallics were a big trend on the spring runways and we’re totally inspired to sport the look this season. Make a bold statement with a metallic blue, such as the superwats polish by Formula X which can help you achieve this look. If you’re going for something a little more subtle, try out Urban Decay’s polish for a hint of metallic or another Formula X polish in a copper metallic hue.
Moon
This manicure is easy to achieve and you can use any color of nail polish you’d like to get the look down. We saw models rocking this trend with neutral colors making for a chic and sophisticated design. Try out any nude polish like OPI’s or Revlon’s polish in Elegant and grab a China Glaze polish in White on White to get the look.
Stripe
Another easy-to-wear look, the stripe mani is a fun look for spring. We were inspired by this model’s fiery orange manicure, with a simple design that anyone could achieve. JINSOON’s nail lacquer in pop orange will give our nails some much needed color this spring and Sally Hansen’s nail art striper in white will help you get the look in no time.
Whimsical
You can’t mention spring and not think of pastels. Spotted on the runways were hues in a variety of colors from blushes to mints. We especially liked the sorbet colors like this Nails Inc tangerine polish or a pinky polish from Sally Hansen. Get the pastel look with this blush color by OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS.
